Saturated Saturday

The art theme for this weekend revolves around a fellow work colleague. Here it is...

Friday Follies

My daughter is saying "Hello" and "Up" now. She loves to make monkey noises as well. This is a monkey I did for her recently. She also likes lady beetles.
2 hours to go and I get to go home...

Thursday Addendum

Crawling through crevices and dirty holes to conceal the reality. You can only fool those around you for so long. I hate to think what damage is being done as you wield your ignorance around you. This is the artwork I created for yesterdays anomaly.

Thursday is better than Monday

Hello,
I have decided to vent my frustrations from yesterdays anomaly through my art. I am currently working on a piece that I will post here when it's done.
Other than that, the weekend is one day closer and my daughter woke me up this morning with a kiss on the cheek and a finger up my nose. Life is good.

Wednesday Addendum

Bitch Session No. 396: I have had the unfortunate experience of chatting to a fellow employee who was gracious enough to comment on some of my semiotic analysis I do for an artist. Her comment was "What a load of shit, you must have been really stoned to write such crap". To this I say: I am sorry that my writings didn't compensate for your trivial and miniscule mind. I would have thought that someone with your 'creative flair' in writing would have appreciated words with three or more syllables.
Anyway, my boiling blood has subsided to a mild simmer. Maybe I should do an artwork on her.
Good Night.

Wednesday is my friend

Hello.
There is a ghost in my studio. For the past few months, the door to my studio has been slamming shut for no reason at all. There is no wind and the hinges on the door are not as freely moving as you would expect. In another words, it takes quite a bit of force to close the door. Yet it still slams shut with quite a force.
Having said all this, I have to be the most cynical and unbelieving person on this earth. I have tried putting up pieces of sail cloth to see if there was a gust of wind (which would be extremely unusual in itself as my studio has no windows). The other weird thing is that it usually slams shut at around 2pm everyday, not all the time but most days. Seeing this is a photographic studio that I work in, I should set up the camera with a motion sensor and photograph the door slamming, though I would probably need to do this with infra red or ultraviolet to pick up any unexplained things.
If I capture anything I will post it on this site. Till then I will be as skeptical as ever and blame it on....something.

Tuesday's Half Price

Sometimes I feel that I am taking 3 steps forward and 8 back. I can see a huge amount of mistakes being made around me, yet I say nothing because it would make me come across as being arrogant or out of my depth. So instead I play the role and stick to my lines in this comedy of errors.
I had the chance to see Super Size Me on the weekend. Whilst it was critical of the food industry as a whole, I think it simply highlights the fact that you have to be ever vigilant of what you eat. Multinationals will not and never have had your best interests at heart. So with that in mind...beware.
Thats me after an allnighter at maccas

It will stop

Here is the sadness that will afflict us all at time or another. The day our heart stops beating.
I am continually amazed at the way people treat their bodies. The most prized possession without which we don't exist is bombarded with chemicals, fat and physical abuse. I created this artwork in response to a person who is going out of their way to end their life in a socially acceptable way. I see it as a slow suicide.

In the beginning

Hello and welcome...
Here it is, the rant you have all been waiting for. Maybe not.
Being my first post I suppose I should say something profound or enlightening...
Don't cross the road with your eyes closed.

There you have it.
till next time...
