Nearing the end...

Happy New Year to all who pass this through this cyber avenue. I know there are so many of you it will be hard to give you my well wishes personally, but here goes: Happy new year Jenn. Right that's it then. :)
Back to work on Monday and that really sucks but I suppose reality creeps back in eventually.

Why do I dislike shopping centres? What is it that attracts thousands of people to squeeze into a building and spend so much time together in discomfort? I ask you.

A donut a day...

I hereby dedicate the rest of my days to becoming morbidly obese. Not through eating just anything though...no, this plan will be executed through the mass consumption of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (that's how they spell it). Sunday 19th December 2004. The time was around 6pm. I open the fridge and remove box and with a quivering hand remove the top. An audience of twelve delicious donuts stare back at me, their eyes wide with terror as I...hang on! donuts don't have eyes...
Oh well, I proceeded to taste each one taking a bite and savouring the delicious flavour that is KK. I ate 8 donuts in that sitting. I think my stomach gave up but my tastebuds were yelling for more.
There is a sad element to all this joyous munching. There is no KK in the state I live in, the closest being a short 2000km drive away. The sadness that engulfs me when I realise that eating more of these delicious little lard parcels is but a dream. Oh well, I'm sure my heart will thank me. Below is the proposed before and after.

Monday 2:07 PM

Hello.

A weekend that turned out to be too short. Three days would be more appropriate. I had the wonderful opportunity to taste Krispy Kreme donuts yesterday, a whole box!
I am lost for words at how much I enjoyed them. I will post something tomorrow about this new vice in my life.
Until then...A request from Jenn (as you can tell I recycled a pic...I'm lazy)

6 days to go...

6 days and I go on holidays. I hope to have my computer going by then so I can keep all my readers (Jenn) up to date with any late breaking news!
Other than that, I'm trying to think of a subject that I can draw. My brain seems to be on standby today. Nearly lunchtime, and today we have a succulent assortment of ham sandwiches...
On Sunday, my dear sister-in-law is delivering a box of Krispy Kreme donuts all the way from Sydney. I can't wait to dig my fangs into those delicious donuts. Mmmmmmmmmm
it's also my darling wife's birthday on Sunday. She's the big 30. We are all so old...

Tomorrow Caitlin is 19 months old. She is the most wonderful thing I have ever laid my eyes on.

7 days and counting...

This time next week I will be 7 hours away from a 2 week holiday!! I'm trying not to get too excited but spending two weeks with my wonderful family will be awesome.

My computer is still not working and I am starting to believe that maybe it is the ghost I called a bastard. So, My friendly ghost, you're looking extremely well today if not a little pale. What a great ghost you are and as you're reading this over my shoulder as I type it, I was wondering if you could find it in your heart to fix my computer? I also promise that none of the many respondents to my posts (Jenn) will defame you in any way.

My computer has died. An evil electricity spike has made short work of my hard drive and motherboard...
I now need to spend a fortune on a new system. crud.
Other than that, work is giving me a headache and I'm tired.
Oh well, back to it.

Monday 11:44 AM

The day seems to have slowed. Is it me or are there now 80 minutes in every hour? This is bollocks. I have so much work to do, so I decided to stop and confide in my blog. This place sucks.
My daughter can now count to three. She will be 19 months old in five days.
Time only seems to slow down during working hours. As soon as I get home everything speeds up until I walk through the doors and start all over again. Maybe I'm just going insane. Anyway, I'd better get back to it.
Damn ghost is watching the screen as I type...Rude bastard!

Monday is never fun...

And so it begins. Monday morning and typing on a keyboard in a place I wish I didn't know. I wait and hold my breath for the days events.

AWOL

What a dastardly surprise! It's been 1 month since I've updated.(Sorry Jenn)
I must be the slackest person on the face of the earth. Work has been hell to deal with. Most of the people who have been annoying me and causing me grief have been sacked! This is good news, the only problem being that they haven't been replaced thus I'm having to do three times the work. I suppose this is my excuse for not updating my blog.
This doesn't mean I haven't been reading blogs though. On the contrary, I have been keeping up to date with all that is interesting and ever changing especially rockst...I mean Jenn's blog.:)
Anyway, Hopefully things will get back to normal now. In the meantime I need to find another job because I'm sick of this one. I also want more money as I just bought an airconditioner for my daughters room. Not cheap but she is comfortable which is all that matters. Until tomorrow (Hopefully :)) have a wonderful day filled with amazing sights and sounds and maybe some little green aliens too.

Oops. I have been extremely slack.
Actually my computer broke down for 3 days but seeing i work in front of a computer all day that should be no excuse.
In 6 days my daughter will be 18 months old. I can't believe she is turning 2 in 6 months!!!

Wednesday Evening

Hello one and all. I am extremely angry at a group of moronic placebos that I work with. Not only do they frustrate me with their lack of skills and undisciplined rhetoric but they feel they have these larger than life personas that they have to maintain on a daily basis. To you I say...Go to hell. simple.

My daughter has started feeding her baby doll and giving her hugs. She is wonderful. All children are.

Thursday Night 9:11 PM

I've spent the last two night doing my taxes online. I thought I would give it a go and save some money on an accountant. Yeah right. I just went to upload it and it's been refused because I was late last year... The system really sucks sometimes. When frustrating shit like this happens, I've noticed that if I quietly sneak into my daughters room and watch her sleep, everything becomes good again, if not brilliant. She is so beautiful and perfect sometimes I wonder if it's all a beautiful dream. If it is then I don't want to wake. I've drawn a picture for her of a plane. She loves planes and I know they would make an appearance in her dreams so I'll hang it over her bed. Anyhoo, till tomorrow may nights be dark and days bright.

Unpleasant Wednesday

I've had the unpleasant misfortune of running into a person that I dislike immensely. Not only did she try and hide her own incompetence by putting everyone around her down but she put her hand on my back in a pseudo friendly gesture. So, I dedicated my break to drawing a portrait of her.
