The Dance of the Stands (reprise)

This is part two. The hat stand has left the building. Unfortunately it's not permanent.

Friday 9:11 AM

Here is another entry exactly 12 hours after the last...weird.
I want today to be but a fleeting memory. In another words...hurry up and get it over with already. Here's a pic I did for my daughters bedroom wall.

Thursday Night 9:11 PM

I've spent the last two night doing my taxes online. I thought I would give it a go and save some money on an accountant. Yeah right. I just went to upload it and it's been refused because I was late last year... The system really sucks sometimes. When frustrating shit like this happens, I've noticed that if I quietly sneak into my daughters room and watch her sleep, everything becomes good again, if not brilliant. She is so beautiful and perfect sometimes I wonder if it's all a beautiful dream. If it is then I don't want to wake. I've drawn a picture for her of a plane. She loves planes and I know they would make an appearance in her dreams so I'll hang it over her bed. Anyhoo, till tomorrow may nights be dark and days bright.

Unpleasant Wednesday

I've had the unpleasant misfortune of running into a person that I dislike immensely. Not only did she try and hide her own incompetence by putting everyone around her down but she put her hand on my back in a pseudo friendly gesture. So, I dedicated my break to drawing a portrait of her.

Wednesday

Another day: Welcome to the past. Some things you take and carry with you, others wither and fade like a dying flower.

Wednesday I think...

My GOD! How can I be this lazy? All I have to do is write a little entry but NO. I have to sit back for OVER A WEEK and not update once.
Here's a pic of my daughter.

Friday at last...

I have been slack. I haven't updated much this week. I wish it were friday afternoon and not morning. I suppose I should do some work now.

Tuesday part II

Here is a cat I did for my daughter today. I'm going to hang some of these drawings up on her wall for her to kiss goodnight before she goes to bed.

Tuesday comes but once a week

Hello.
The most important things first. The Election...only kidding. My Daughter is 16 months old now. Her hair is becoming very curly and new teeth are appearing all the time. She has started making the sound of a Rooster, which she is very proud of.

Like the US election, the Australian election is also coming to a resolution. All the monotony and drudgery of political rhetoric will end. At least for a while.

VSS (Very Short Story): The was this guy who found himself in this fantastic job. This was the job of a life time. He was making really good money and the prestige associated with his position gave him access to areas he never would have dreamt possible. Life was good. There was a small problem though, only a really small one that caused a niggling feeling in the back of his mind at about 2am every morning. He had no idea as to what he was doing. He had fooled all those around him but realised there would be a time when that would stop. He would be found out. That time is at hand. To Be Continued...

Saturated Saturday

The art theme for this weekend revolves around a fellow work colleague. Here it is...

Friday Follies

My daughter is saying "Hello" and "Up" now. She loves to make monkey noises as well. This is a monkey I did for her recently. She also likes lady beetles.
2 hours to go and I get to go home...

Thursday Addendum

Crawling through crevices and dirty holes to conceal the reality. You can only fool those around you for so long. I hate to think what damage is being done as you wield your ignorance around you. This is the artwork I created for yesterdays anomaly.

Thursday is better than Monday

Hello,
I have decided to vent my frustrations from yesterdays anomaly through my art. I am currently working on a piece that I will post here when it's done.
Other than that, the weekend is one day closer and my daughter woke me up this morning with a kiss on the cheek and a finger up my nose. Life is good.

Wednesday Addendum

Bitch Session No. 396: I have had the unfortunate experience of chatting to a fellow employee who was gracious enough to comment on some of my semiotic analysis I do for an artist. Her comment was "What a load of shit, you must have been really stoned to write such crap". To this I say: I am sorry that my writings didn't compensate for your trivial and miniscule mind. I would have thought that someone with your 'creative flair' in writing would have appreciated words with three or more syllables.
Anyway, my boiling blood has subsided to a mild simmer. Maybe I should do an artwork on her.
Good Night.

Wednesday is my friend

Hello.
There is a ghost in my studio. For the past few months, the door to my studio has been slamming shut for no reason at all. There is no wind and the hinges on the door are not as freely moving as you would expect. In another words, it takes quite a bit of force to close the door. Yet it still slams shut with quite a force.
Having said all this, I have to be the most cynical and unbelieving person on this earth. I have tried putting up pieces of sail cloth to see if there was a gust of wind (which would be extremely unusual in itself as my studio has no windows). The other weird thing is that it usually slams shut at around 2pm everyday, not all the time but most days. Seeing this is a photographic studio that I work in, I should set up the camera with a motion sensor and photograph the door slamming, though I would probably need to do this with infra red or ultraviolet to pick up any unexplained things.
If I capture anything I will post it on this site. Till then I will be as skeptical as ever and blame it on....something.

Tuesday's Half Price

Sometimes I feel that I am taking 3 steps forward and 8 back. I can see a huge amount of mistakes being made around me, yet I say nothing because it would make me come across as being arrogant or out of my depth. So instead I play the role and stick to my lines in this comedy of errors.
I had the chance to see Super Size Me on the weekend. Whilst it was critical of the food industry as a whole, I think it simply highlights the fact that you have to be ever vigilant of what you eat. Multinationals will not and never have had your best interests at heart. So with that in mind...beware.
Thats me after an allnighter at maccas
